GLOBAL WARMING & RECYCLING

Global warming & Recycling

Global warming is a growing concern for all living beings on this planet.

What is Global Warming?

Global warming is the increase of earth’s average surface temperature due to the effect of greenhouse gases. These greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane absorb heat that would otherwise escape from earth. Global warming has emerged has one of the biggest environmental issue in the two decades.

With the start of industry in the 1700's, humans began emitting more fossil fuels from coal, oil, and gas to run our cars, trucks, and factories. By driving a “smarter” car, being more active in your life and recycling items, you will not only save on gas, but help prevent global warming and our environment. According to the U.S. Global Change Research Program, the temperature in the U.S. has increased by 2 degrees in the last 50 years and precipitation has increased by 5%. Since 1870, global sea levels have risen by about 8 inches.

At VENUS we take every step to help reducing global warming by using recyclable plastic jars and materials for our products and packaging process.

HDPE and PET Packaging

All VENUS product containers are manufactured using HDPE or PET plastic. High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), is a plastic polymers with flexible properties which make it ideal for a wide range of applications. HDPE and PET is accepted at most recycling centres in the world, as it is one of the easiest plastic polymers to recycle. Most recycling companies will collect HDPE and PET products and take these to large facilities to be processed. You can take small steps at home to recycle HDPE and PET products and help us to reduce global warming.
