We all have that one skinny friend who can eat whatever she wants, right?
She eats an ice cream cone like no big deal. And you know she doesn't always order salad. But she doesn't have superwoman genes. So how come she doesn't have to go on a diet? "
We show you the habits of fit and skinny people and how to become a “healthy eater” as well as how to learn from them and get inspired.
1. They didn't obsess over their weight or size
They never once tied their happiness or worth to how they looked, or to what size of pants they wear. They don’t weight themselves every day to see if it’s a “good” day or a “bad” day, and rarely think about their weight or size.
2. They are no emotional eaters
Naturally skinny people don’t think about food all the time. They don’t eat when they are stressed, bored, or sad, they have a relaxed relationship with food and found happiness outside of food.
3. They trust their bodies
They won’t fight with their body all the time to eat 6 small meals a day, and drink tones of water to alleviate the hunger in between.
Naturally thin people just trust their bodies, eat when they are hungry, and stopped when they are satisfied. They trust their internal hunger and fullness mechanisms and it’s working for them without fail.
4.They spend time in the kitchen
It is much easier to eat healthy and control portions when you take the time to prepare food in advance. Food preparation is the best thing you can do if you want to change your eating habits. Start preparing your food – cooking is a lot more fun than you think!
5. They didn't follow arbitrary rules of dieting
Naturally thin people don’t follow rules like: no carbs in the evening, don’t eat after 7pm, eat six small meals a day, always pair a carbs with a protein, never eat this, that and the other thing …
They simple have their own rules of what fuelled them best. Start listening to your body; otherwise you will be exhausted, and constantly confused about what your body really needs.
